About address stamps

A return address stamp saves you writing the same three lines on every envelope, invitation, thank-you card and parcel. The classic layout is a family or business name on the first line, the street address on the second and the city, state and ZIP on the third — that is exactly what our address stamp templates give you, with each line editable and automatically kept centered as the text length changes. Swap the fonts, adjust the spacing and pick an ink color that matches your stationery.

The library includes a plain three-line return address stamp, a round address stamp with the name curved around the top and a monogram initial in the middle, an ornamental rectangular design with a script name, and a square couple monogram stamp for wedding stationery. Round layouts suit wax-seal-style stickers and gift wrap; rectangular ones fit standard self-inking mounts best. Nothing is locked — you can delete a line, add one, or resize the whole design before downloading.

Designing is free and unlimited. When you like the result, one purchase unlocks the full file set: a transparent PNG and an SVG to send to a stamp manufacturer for a self-inking or wooden rubber stamp, and a white-background PNG plus a print-ready PDF if you would rather print labels, add the address block to a digital template or run off sheets at home.

Frequently asked questions

What size should a return address stamp be?

Most self-inking return address stamps are about 1.5 x 0.5 in (38 x 12 mm) for a three-line address, or 1.5 in across for a round one. Because you download an SVG, your stamp maker can scale the design to whatever mount you choose without losing quality.

Can I put a monogram or initial on it?

Yes — the round and square address templates already include a center monogram, and you can add or edit letters on any template in the editor.

Is the address stamp maker free?

Designing is completely free with no account. Downloading the finished files costs $7.99 for one design, or $14.99 for three.
