About signature stamps
A signature stamp reproduces a name in a signature-style script so it can be applied quickly to routine paperwork: delivery notes, internal approvals, purchase orders, payroll forms and stacks of correspondence that would otherwise be signed by hand one at a time. The usual layout is the name in a script font on top with a printed name and job title on a caption line beneath, often over or under a rule. Our signature stamp templates lay it out that way and leave every line editable.
The category also covers the company-signatory formats used on invoices and contracts: a For [Company Name] stamp above an Authorised Signatory line, a Director variant and a Proprietor variant for sole traders. All four are rectangular, which is the shape that fits standard self-inking mounts and sits comfortably in a signature block. Change the script font, the caption wording, the letter spacing or the ink color, and resize the whole stamp to match the space you have on the page.
Design as long as you like for free. One purchase then unlocks a transparent PNG — the version to place over a signature line in a PDF or Word file with nothing showing behind it — plus a white-background PNG, a scalable SVG for the stamp shop, and a print-ready PDF. Because the SVG is vector, a manufacturer can produce the stamp at any size without the script edges going soft.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my real handwritten signature?
The templates use script fonts rather than a scan of your handwriting. You can type your name in a signature-style font and adjust it until it looks right, and add a printed name and title line beneath.
Is a signature stamp legally binding?
That depends on the document and your country's rules — many organizations accept facsimile signatures for routine paperwork but not for deeds, wills or notarized documents. Check before using one on anything important.
Which file should I use to sign PDFs?
The transparent PNG. It has no white background, so it sits over an existing signature line cleanly in any PDF editor or word processor.
