About company seals

A company seal marks a document as issued by the business itself rather than by an individual: contracts and agreements, invoices and receipts, share certificates, board resolutions, letterheads and shipping paperwork. The conventional content is the registered company name curved around the outer ring, a city or country line curving along the bottom, and a registration, VAT or license number with a founding year across the middle. Those are the editable lines in every company stamp template here.

Ten of the eleven designs are round — a classic double ring, a triple-ring corporate seal, a version with a dashed inner ring and an OFFICIAL band, a rope-border seal, a bold monogram center, a VAT and trading-license variant, a founding-year badge, a corporate officer seal and a bilingual two-band design that carries the company name in two languages. The eleventh is a rectangular company details stamp with address, telephone, email and registration lines for the back of invoices and forms.

Whether a company seal is required, optional or purely conventional depends on where you are incorporated, so check your local company law before relying on one. Designing is free and unlimited; one purchase then unlocks a transparent PNG, a white-background PNG, an SVG and a print-ready PDF. Send the SVG to a stamp shop for an embosser or self-inking stamp, or use the transparent PNG to apply the seal directly to PDF invoices and contracts.

Frequently asked questions

What should a company seal include?

Usually the full registered company name, the place of registration, and a company registration or VAT number — often with the year of incorporation. Requirements vary by country, so confirm what yours expects.

What is the difference between a company seal and a company stamp?

A seal traditionally means an embossed or wax impression, while a stamp is an inked rubber one. In everyday use the words are interchangeable, and the same design file works for either.

Can I add my company seal to a PDF invoice?

Yes — use the transparent PNG. It has no white background, so it overlays an invoice or contract without hiding what is underneath.
